My name is Brea James. I am 27 years old and a graduate of The University of Alabama where I received my Masters in Public Administration and my Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and Criminal Justice. I am currently a registered behavior technician working with children ages 18 months to 8 years old who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). I am very passionate about Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). I love working with children and being an advocate for my patients. I also volunteer as a mentor through Big Brother Big Sister. I am best described as fun, energetic, compassionate, empathic, and outgoing. I served as a full time substitute teacher for ages 5-18, including paraprofessional roles, which inspired me to purse a career in ABA therapy with children. I am first aid and CPR certified. I am very enthusiastic about serving children and have the long term goal of Read more becoming a child advocacy attorney. Others describe me as kind, friendly, dependable, and considerate. Being able to impact youth and to be of service to children is my calling in and life and something I take pride in everyday.
