I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy working with children and helping them learn, grow, and thrive in a safe and nurturing environment. Every child is unique, and I find it incredibly rewarding to build meaningful connections with them, understand their needs, and support their development through play, structure, and emotional support. Seeing a child smile, overcome a challenge, or learn something new brings me real joy. I have years of experience working with kids of all ages, both in casual babysitting settings and professional roles. For the past three years, I’ve worked as a behavior technician, where I supported children with developmental and behavioral needs. This role has given me valuable hands-on experience with behavior management, communication strategies, and creating structured, engaging environments for children with diverse needs. In addition to my experience, I’ve developed strong skills in patience, adaptability, and active listening. I’m trained in Applied Read more Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques, safety protocols, and emotional regulation strategies. I’m also CPR and BLS certified. These skills help me remain calm and supportive in all situations, while ensuring every child feels safe, understood, and cared for under my supervision.
