Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m originally from Waco and recently graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Accounting. I’ve always loved working with kids and families, and I bring a caring, dependable, and positive attitude to every home I step into. I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy building relationships with children—getting to know their personalities, encouraging their creativity, and helping them feel safe, heard, and cared for. Whether it’s helping with homework, playing games, reading books, or just being a steady presence, I find joy in supporting families and being someone kids can trust and have fun with. I currently work as a substitute teacher with Midway ISD, where I lead classrooms across different grade levels. This role has given me great experience in managing routines, setting respectful boundaries, and adapting to various needs and learning styles. I’ve also served as a peer mentor Read more and student leader in both academic and service-based roles, so I’m very organized, reliable, and comfortable stepping into leadership when needed. In terms of skills, I’m trained in classroom management, have strong communication and problem-solving abilities, and am CPR/First Aid aware (can update if required). I’m also happy to assist with light housekeeping, meals, or homework support as needed. Above all, I want families to feel confident that their children are in loving and capable hands. I take that responsibility seriously—and I treat every child with the same care and attention I’d want for my own future family.
