AFTER SCHOOL HOUSE MANAGER/KID WRANGLER 2024/5 SCHOOL YEAR I have been providing childcare continuously for the past 19 years, and have additional experience prior to raising my own kids. My focus in recent years has been the care of the littlest friends, infants thru preschool. I have really enjoyed providing support to new parents so that they could go to work and know their little one was being well cared for. My mission was to ensure parents had as much support as I could provide. In addition to providing loving care for their children, I’d help make sure they returned home to a clean and tidy space. Now I’m ready for a new phase and would love to help out with some house management (errands, dog walking, dishwasher, kids’/household laundry, food prep) and after school care for 1st grade and up. I’ve raised three kids, so I’m well versed in Read more juggling schedules, getting homework underway and making sure no one starves! Ideally I’d like to work for approx 15-20 hours per week over 4 days. For example 1-5 or 2-6 (50/50 household/kids). I was born in the United Kingdom, grew up in Ireland and am now a naturalized American citizen. I’m married and the mother of three adult children. I love to walk, read, knit and I go to the gym, which I don’t love, but I go anyway! I drive and have a safe car and keep up to date on my vaccines, including influenza and COVID. I live in Edison Park in the city, and would prefer to work within about a 20 minute drive, give or take a few. I am still good friends with practically everyone I’ve ever worked for, including a family in Germany! So I can provide excellent references. Looking forward to hearing from you!
