Hello! My name is Annie, and I’m 29 years old. I have been a nanny with the same family for about 7 years, and am also currently a preschool teacher. I’ve been working with children for several years, and hold certifications in first aid, CPR, 45 hour childcare cert for the State of Maryland. My experience working with children started back in high school, babysitting for multiple families in my community. I then went to Salisbury University and studied social work with the intention of working in the adoption field. While there, I served as the AmeriCorps team leader for the program at Salisbury. Since then, I married my college sweetheart and we have a 6 month old. The family I currently nanny for has 4 kids - two of whom I have raised with their parents since birth. They are now 11, 9, 7, and 4. My experience working Read more with them has transcended into becoming each others family and has helped me realize my heart is truly with taking care of children. I have also babysat for several families in their neighborhood, and am frequently called “Annie the Nanny”. In my time working with them, I have assisted the family with appointments, school pick ups, play dates, park days, swimming, emergency child care, and even vacations. I am essentially mom 2.0, and hope to continue that same level of care with my next family. When hiring me to care for your kids, you are getting a nanny who will treat your children with respect, joke around, be adventurous with them , while also maintaining their well being. I am dependable, caring, and well informed about caring for children of a wide variety of age groups. I am confident in my ability to provide top notch childcare for my families.
