I enjoy being a sitter because I love getting to know the kids, and it's always nice to be able to feel the bond grow, as you connect with the families! Most of my experience has come from having baby sat the same child for around 2 years, from his toddler age until kindergarten. I also used to help my mother out when she would teach her art classes for pre-schoolers. Though I have never babysat for older children, I have tutored at that middle school level, through a program at my university.
