I genuinely love being a sitter because I am incredibly passionate about working with children. There is nothing more rewarding to me than helping kids learn, grow, and explore the world in a safe, joyful environment. For me, caregiving isn't just a job—it's a privilege to support families and bring positive, nurturing energy into a child's day. My love for childcare began at age 12, when I started working as a parent helper. Through that initial role, I began caring for a family's oldest son when he was 4 years old. I stayed with that same family until my high school graduation, by which time they had grown to three children. Caring for the two boys (now 9 and 12) and their sister (now 4) up to 8 hours a day, twice a week, gave me extensive, hands-on experience in preparing meals, light cleaning, providing tutoring, and organizing engaging educational Read more activities. Over the years, my passion for childcare has helped me build strong, long-term relationships with several wonderful families. I spent several years babysitting a young girl with Down syndrome, focusing on creating a safe, supportive, and structured environment where she could thrive. I also began caring for a toddler during my sophomore year of high school, and I continue to provide care for her whenever I return home on college breaks. During the summer months, I bring that same dedication to full-time, live-out nanny services. In this role, I manage full daytime schedules, which includes preparing meals, keeping the children active and engaged, and handling transportation to outings, summer camps, and sports practices. My deep commitment to understanding and supporting children led me to Binghamton University, where I am currently studying Psychology with the goal of pursuing a career in child psychology. To ensure I always provide the highest quality of care, I completed a formal babysitting course early on to prepare for any situational needs. Additionally, because I manage severe allergies myself, I am fully trained in anaphylaxis care and experienced in administering an Epi-Pen. I am truly dedicated to the well-being and unique personality of every child in my care, and I look forward to supporting your family.
