I earned my bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from College Unbound and have been approved through Rhode Island’s Expert Residency pathway in Secondary Special Education. I have also been accepted into Rhode Island College’s master’s program in Special Education and will begin my studies in Spring 2027. Throughout my career, I have supported children and teenagers with autism, ADHD, anxiety, trauma histories, developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, and a wide range of learning and communication needs. I am passionate about creating safe, nurturing, inclusive, and engaging environments where Read more every child feels supported and can thrive. In addition to my classroom experience, I founded and directed a Unified Theater program centered on inclusion, creativity, and student leadership. I have also participated in Best Buddies, Special Olympics Unified programs, social-emotional learning initiatives, and mentoring programs. I currently serve as an Alumni Mentor for College Unbound, supporting students as they work toward their educational and professional goals. My childcare journey began at age 12, when I started babysitting for neighborhood families. Since then, I have dedicated my career to working with children and supporting families. I am CPR and First Aid certified and hold an Early Childhood Certificate from the Community College of Rhode Island. I am seeking part-time evening, occasional, and weekend babysitting opportunities. Families and colleagues describe me as dependable, patient, compassionate, energetic, and attentive. When I am not teaching or studying, I enjoy walking, reading, shopping, and spending time with my family and friends. I look forward to connecting with your family and learning how I can support your childcare needs!
