Hi, I’m Chioma! I recently graduated from Howard University with a B.B.A. in Marketing and graduated from Marian High School in Omaha, Nebraska. I have always enjoyed working with children and creating positive, supportive environments where they feel comfortable, encouraged, and valued. I love being a sitter because I enjoy building meaningful connections with kids and being someone they can trust. I believe every child has their own personality, strengths, and learning style, and I love creating fun activities that help them grow, explore, and feel confident. My experience includes working as a Summer Camp Mentor with the NorthStar Foundation, a nonprofit organization in Omaha, Nebraska. During my time there, I mentored and coached 20+ youth participants through leadership development, accountability practices, and personal growth programs. I planned and facilitated daily educational activities, team-building exercises, and group activities that encouraged collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving. These experiences helped me develop strong communication, patience, conflict-resolution skills, and the ability to support children in different situations. I’m responsible, caring, and dedicated to making sure children feel safe, supported, and have a great time while in my care.
