Hi! My name is Grace, and I would love the opportunity to care for your family! I have over 3 years of professional experience working with children of all ages as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in elementary schools. In my role, I work one-on-one and in small groups with students to help them build communication, speech, language, and social skills. I also have experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, and a variety of communication needs. Creating a safe, patient, and encouraging environment is something I truly enjoy every day. In addition to my work as an SLPA, I have experience as a substitute teacher, giving me confidence in caring for groups of children, managing routines, and creating fun, engaging activities. My professional background has taught me how to communicate effectively with children, solve problems calmly, and adapt to each child's unique personality and needs.
