My name is Jennah, I have been caring for children, (ages newborn to pre-teen) for over 20 years. I am one of 8 children and over 60 grandchildren who all grew up in the same neighborhood so I have been helping families care for their children since I was a child myself (the village, so to speak:) I have always been maternal by nature and have a big heart for little ones and the joy they bring to life. I have had a degree and career in Public Relations and I have also been a nanny at least part time throughout my life because of the fulfillment it brings me to provide reliable, loving care for families who could use the extra help. I have studied early childhood development, NVC, and have also enjoyed teaching yoga to children as a tool for physical wellbeing, mindfulness and slowing down in our fast-paced world. I believe that presence, patience and gentle communication are most important when caring for our children to help them feel safe, seen and nurtured. I look to our innate nature in my approach to childcare, including pace, outdoor play, holistic nutrition and avoiding screen time with creative projects and exploration of our natural world. I have had the most wonderful bonds with the children that I've nannied for over the years and I am looking forward to connecting with more family(ies) to care for here in Massachusetts.
