I have been caring for children since I was nine years old, and over the years I’ve had the opportunity to care for children of all different ages, from newborns up to 12 years old. I currently work with two wonderful families during the week. With one family, I started when their youngest was just six months old, and with the other, I started when their youngest was ten months old. I’m CPR certified and have my own safe and reliable vehicle. I’m also someone who really cares about building a genuine connection with the children I care for and becoming someone they feel safe and comfortable with. One of the most meaningful experiences I’ve had was with my best friend’s son. When he was just three months old, she needed someone she trusted to help care for him, and I stepped in. I became a very big part of Read more his life and cared for him as if he were my own. He is now 10 years old, and we still speak and see each other every day. He calls me Mommy, and my entire family considers him part of our family. Watching him grow into the happy, thriving little boy he is today is something I’m incredibly grateful for. I truly love what I do, and caring for children has never felt like just a job to me.
