Greetings! My name is NaKiya Jackson. I go by Kiya or Ki. I’ve been in healthcare for a little close to a year. I started off as a DDMAT in late October to early November. Being a DDMAT I took care of adults with developmental disabilities. I then months later went on to take care of children in DHS care that had behavioral issues and were waiting for placement, or I did hospital visits. I enjoyed what I did because imagine you not having somewhere there for you in your most vulnerable. That’s super hard and very unfair. I just want to come in to make everyone’s lives easier.
