I have had the opportunity to work with amazing families and children for the past 20+ years in both in home and center based early childhood education settings I have been fortunate to gain teaching experience in the classroom, as a VPK Teacher before moving on to Management as Assistant Program Director, then Center Director. I became a Preschool teacher over 23 years ago when my first daughter was born because I just could not leave her and I had to work. I simply wanted to be able to take my baby to work with me and spend all my time as near to her as possible. When her baby sister was born I brought her to preschool with me every day just like her big sister and employment at a preschool enabled us to always be together. Facing an empty nest I relocated to Tallahassee when my youngest daughter Read more started last Fall at FSU and asked me to come with her. I am in a new stage of my life and a corporate job doesn't interest or inspire me anymore. Something is missing in my life that a 9-5 doesn't fulfill. I am a former soccer mom who has always focused and put all my energy into raising my children and now that they are all grown up I am hoping to find a family who needs an overqualified Nanny that just wants to spoil and love their kids because she's not ready to be a Granny yet!
