I am an experienced Lead Preschool teacher at and mother of 4 high school and college aged children with a passion for early childhood and elementary education. For the past five years, I have worked with children ages 1-4, supporting their developmental, social, and early learning skills. My background also includes working with elementary students through tutoring, small group instruction, and as a classroom teacher assistant. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and worked in the field for seven years. After that time, I felt called to step away from full-time work to stay home and raise our children. Once all of our children were in elementary school, I began working in the classroom and quickly discovered my passion for working with young learners.
