Hi! My name is Delaynie, and I’m a warm, fun-loving, and dependable caregiver with several years of experience working with children from 6 months through early teens. I previously worked as a children’s swim instructor, which helped me develop strong skills in child safety, supervision, and keeping kids engaged in a positive and confidence-building way. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing me to communicate effectively with both children and parents from diverse backgrounds. I have nannying experience with multiple families, including about two years caring for a family with two children under the age of two, as well as one year nannying for a family with two middle school boys. I’m comfortable managing daily routines, meals, naps, homework, and age-appropriate activities while providing consistent and attentive care. Most recently, I cared for a family with three children, ages 6, 4, and 1. My responsibilities included school drop-offs and Read more pick-ups for the older children while providing full-time care for the 1-year-old throughout the day. I managed nap schedules, prepared snacks, lunch, and dinner, completed light housekeeping and tidying related to the children, and assisted with meal preparation for the family. I take pride in creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment while helping the household run smoothly. I’m CPR and First Aid certified (currently inactive), safety-conscious, and have a valid driver’s license. I truly enjoy building trusting relationships with families and creating a nurturing, supportive environment where children feel safe, happy, and encouraged to be themselves.
