My name is Darcy and I'm a wife, mom and Nana of 11 beautiful grandbabies with 1 more on the way this September. I moved from Wisconsin to Florida 2 years ago and I'm loving every minute of it. I would love to open up my home again to families in need of trustworthy sitters. I absolutely love working with kids and being apart of watching them learn, grow and become their own little person with their own personalities. Kids are the heart and soul of my being. I enjoy teaching letters, numbers, shapes, colors, any educational learning within my means and helping them learn to love animals, outdoors and nature. I love taking them on walks, to the park and i have a little splash pad with umbrella for your little ones to play in. And course sunscreen, and saftey is my number 1 priority. I used to have Read more my own Day Care center out of my home back in Wisconsin, and I loved it for the 8 years I had it. I treat every child as if they are my own precious grandbaby. I always encourage parents to talk with me about my experiences and put them at ease. I know exactly how nerve-wracking finding someone you can trust with your precious little ones can be. I myself had to do that with my own kids. I know exactly how scary this process is. And i know what it means to be able to trust that your child/ren are being cared for like you want them cared for by you. I always do photo updates and text updates daily and I also do daily notes writing down what we do daily. I've babysat all of my grandbabies on top of when i had my day care and it's the most rewarding job I can ever have. I was/am watching an amazing 5 yr old who is on the top end of the spectrum. And he is such a sweet, loving, happy little boy. And I enjoy watching him continue to learn and grow. He is now back in school, but I still have him every Saturday. I encourage you to ask questions about myself, family, kids and grandbabies. Your little ones will feel NOTHING but love and patience in my care. I am CPR/FIRST AID/BLS Certified and will continue with those certifications yearly. I feel it's very important to have these certifications, and again help put you and your family at ease.
