Hello, my name is Maizy! I am a college student currently attending Montana State University, seeking to expand my experience in child care and beyond. During my high school years, I worked as an assistant teacher and full-time caregiver to children and infants aged 3 months to 12 years. I greatly enjoy getting to know each and every child as well as finding new and engaging activities and lessons to bestow upon them. During my time of employment at the daycare, I was certified in infant, child, and adult CPR and have since been renewed. Less professionally, I have years of experience babysitting children ages 2 to 10 throughout my adolescence. Bringing approved activities to engage in, such as creating calming jars, paintings, slime, and more. Furthermore, I enjoy helping children with homework and other tasks to help engage with school-related topics in an easier or even more interesting manner. Read more My Child Development class has taught me various ways to help introduce more age appropriate activities to enhance children's learning and development. Additionally, the course has taught me an abundance of information on the differences in each child and how to navigate care taking in the best, most appropriate manner. Additionally, for those whose children or even pets have allergies, I have both experience and certifications. I am Food Safety Certified as well as have years of experience taking care of family members who have Celiac Disease and nut allergies, as well as many experiences granted to me through the daycare. Furthermore, I have experience with allergies and giving related medication firsthand. In conclusion, I have experience with an abundance of people and pets and am looking to further my knowledge and experience with both. I am open to all new experiences and hope that you will allow me to join you on this journey!
