Hi! I’m a Master of Social Work student with a background in psychology and experience working with elementary aged children in a structured afterschool setting. I regularly supervise and engage groups of children, helping with activities, behavior support, and creating a safe, positive environment. I’m responsible, patient, and comfortable managing multiple children at once. I have experience with child safety and behavior management, and have worked in classroom settings. I plan to work with children in my professional career in a clinical (therapeutic) environment. I currently work part time, but have lots of flexibility to adjust schedules if needed. A little about me: I love animals, and I am more than comfortable working around pets. Throughout my time in undergrad, I worked on various equine farms and gained lots of experience with big and small animals. I have experience with all ages, but I primarily work with kindergarten and first Read more grade children. I would also be comfortable working with pre-kindergarten (K-prep). In my free time, I like spending time outside and enjoying nature walks with friends and family. I also enjoy painting, baking, and spending time with my cat! 😊
