Hi! My name is Ashley Clarey and I'm from Newport Beach, California. I studied at SMU in Dallas, where I majored in Psychology and Business and am doing the last leg online this semester. I have my infant and adult CPR certification. I have experience tutoring kids in math, English, French, Spanish, and science. I love languages and am currently learning Swedish as well! I have cared for kids from 3 months up to 12 years old. I absolutely love kids so babysitting has been something that I naturally gravitated towards. Some favorite activities are exploring around a park, playing in the sand, putting on performances, making obstacle courses and coloring. Additionally I am a total animal lover! I worked at a preschool in Dallas part-time (Parish Episcopal) where I was an assistant teacher as well as an after-school teacher. I also led a hip hop class which no prior Read more experience which was quite a learning curve! I have gained more experience as a part-time nanny. I was in charge of school drop-off/pick-up, communicating with teachers, scheduling kids, taking them to activities, meal prep, bedtime routines (bath time, snuggles, etc), as well as running errands and shopping for kids (clothes, toys, snacks). I am an effective communicator, self-sufficient, a team leader, reliable, have strong organisational skills and uphold punctuality. Since this is my senior year, my schedule is more open than prior years. I'm excited about the possibility of contributing my enthusiasm, experiences, silly personality and dedication to your family.
