Since I was young, I have loved working with children. My little cousins would always be crowded around me at family functions, and I loved making up games and songs with them. I began babysitting at about 15 years old, and started working in daycare as soon as I was 18. I have always enjoyed watching the delight in a child's eyes as they explored and learned new things. I became an elementary school teacher for this same reason. Over the last 20 years I have work in daycares, as a nanny, and as an elementary school teacher. I also ran the children's ministry at my church for over five years. Currently, I coach girls on the run for 4th and 5th grade girls at my elementary school, and I coach a children's boxing class at my local gym. I am passionate about learning, fitness, and my faith. I have Read more a certificate in mental health awareness and I am trained in CPR, first aid, and fire safety. Seeing the world through a child's eyes, and encouraging them in their exploration and growth is something I love to do!
