I began babysitting for families in my neighborhood when I was in 8th grade and eventually held various nannying positions throughout highschool and college. I enjoy childcare so much because of the nature of children, especially younger ones, where everyday can be a new experience. I recently graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in neurobiology and human physiology. I currently work in a pediatric dental office as an assistant and will be attending the University of Maryland Dental school in the fall. At UMD, I had the opportunity to teach STEM lessons in local College Park elementary schools, an experience I value greatly. This past Summer I spent a week as a volunteer camp counselor for Kesem, a national nonprofit that offers a free summer camp for children impacted by a parent or caregivers cancer.
