María—your childcare best friend in West Seattle. Hi! I'm an experienced and loving caregiver with more than 15 years of teaching and childcare experience in Venezuela, and five years supporting families here in Seattle. I hold a degree in education and have taught children ranging from 2 months to 12 years old. I even owned a daycare in my home country. Today, I bring that same level of care, dedication, and joy to every family I work with. I specialize in caring for infants (2 months to 1 year) and intentionally work with only one child at a time so I can provide my full attention. I’ve supported families from many different cultural backgrounds and pride myself on creating a safe, warm, and loving environment where every child feels happy, understood, and cared for. I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and currently completing my CPR certification. I am a native Read more Spanish speaker and am actively learning English, using tools like Google Translate to communicate. While I don’t have a driver’s license, I am familiar with Uber and Lyft and can use them in case of emergencies. I’m also happy to help with light housekeeping and meal prep as part of my care. My rate is $24–25 per hour during the day and $27–28 per hour for late-night care. I’m available for date nights, weekends, and even overnight support depending on your needs. I currently offer two types of care. First, I can travel to your home if you live in neighborhoods like Capitol Hill, First Hill, Central District, Madrona, Belltown, Downtown, Rainier Valley, Mercer Island, Magnolia, Queen Anne, Fremont, Ballard, West Seattle, Burien, and White Center. If you don’t see your neighborhood listed, feel free to ask! Second, I offer a pick-up and drop-off location just a few blocks from downtown White Center, which may be a good fit for families nearby. My current availability is Monday from 12 PM to 6 PM, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 AM to 6 PM, Thursday and Friday from 8 AM to 12 PM (with extended availability on Friday until midnight), and Saturday evenings from 6 PM to midnight.
