I recently left my position at a daycare/early childhood education center and am now offering my own babysitting services. During my time there, I completed the required childcare training and gained experience working with different age groups. I also recently graduated with my Bachelor's degree. While I take some time to decide my next career step and when I'll be starting, I'd love to continue providing childcare and supporting local families. I focus on providing a safe, caring, and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable and supported. I don't just "watch" kids. I like to keep them engaged with fun, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and creativity. With parents' approval, I can plan activities such as coloring, arts and crafts, beginner math exercises, reading, writing practice, puzzles, sensory play, outdoor play, educational games, and other hands-on activities tailored to each child's age and interests. I'd especially love to find a Read more family looking for regular babysitting, as it gives me the opportunity to build a strong, trusting relationship with both the children and their parents, learn each child's routine and personality, and provide more personalized care.
