Hello! My name is Andrew McCool and I am a 23-year-old with 8+ years of experience in nannying, babysitting, pet sitting, and housesitting. I graduated from Virginia Tech in 2019 with a double-major in Marketing and Management, and am currently living in Mars Hill, where I work as a veganic farmer with my partner, Madison. I've been working with kids since I was around 14 and love their contagious enthusiasm and engagement in life. I started by babysitting neighborhood kids, then moved on to nannying during the summers. My favorite group to work with is 6-14-year-olds, but I have experience with infants as young as 2 and teens as old as 15. I also have experience tutoring and mentoring in a wide variety of subjects, and love making learning fun! When I don't have my hands in the dirt, I spend most of my free time meditating, doing yoga, exercising, Read more cooking, and exploring nature. As a lifelong athlete and nature enthusiast, I love to maximize outdoor fun-time. I am confident that my daily meditation and yoga practice will enable me to be present, patient, responsible, creative, and playful with your children. I have 3 years of restaurant experience as a chef and love to cook fun, healthy, and delicious meals. I have been pet sitting and house sitting for about 10 years and still regularly sit through Rover.
