Hi! My name is Shaw’nai, and I’m a college student who loves working with children and creating a safe, fun, and positive environment for them. I’m responsible, patient, caring, and dependable, and I enjoy helping children feel comfortable, supported, and engaged. I’m looking for part-time opportunities and I’m happy to discuss occasional or reoccurring evening care that I’m happy to coordinate with families. Since I’m currently in college and also have another job, my availability can vary, starting at 7pm throughout the evenings. but I’m open to discussing different days, times, and recurring schedules in advance. I’m happy to work with families to find a schedule that works well for everyone. I’m comfortable helping with age-appropriate activities, playtime, meals and snacks, homework, bedtime routines, and keeping children entertained and supervised. I understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable and confident in the person caring for their children, Read more so I take safety, communication, and responsibility seriously.
