Hi families! My name is Samantha, and I’m a Pre-K teacher at Berrybrook School in Duxbury. I’ve been working with children in various roles for over 15 years, and I absolutely love what I do! I’m currently preparing for the MTELs with the goal of becoming a first-grade teacher in the coming years. A little about me — I’m a nurturing, kind, and caring person who truly enjoys spending time with children and helping them grow. I love engaging in activities that spark curiosity and creativity, like arts and crafts, sensory play, building with blocks, and exploring nature. You’ll often find me reading stories with lots of expression, singing songs, or creating simple learning games that make everyday moments meaningful and fun. I also enjoy taking children outdoors for walks, playground time, or scavenger hunts — fresh air and play are such important parts of the day! Currently, I teach Read more the morning session at school, so I’m looking for an afternoon position. I’m available to start around 12:30/1:00 PM and ideally would like to wrap up between 3:30 and 5:00 PM, though I’m happy to be flexible. I’m open to something consistent or just a few days a week — whatever fits your schedule! It’s the perfect time to sneak in errands, hit the gym, grab lunch with friends, or get some work done. I’m also available for occasional date nights. Additionally, if your preschool aged child is showing excitement for letters or early literacy, I’d love to help nurture that interest! As a teacher, I enjoy incorporating playful, hands-on activities that make learning fun and meaningful. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your little ones!
