Hi, I'm Sophie! I'm a 21 year old college student attending North Carolina State University. I am studying to achieve Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and I am also minoring in Health! I am on the executive board as Safety Officer on the All-Girl Cheerleading team and an active member of the Summit Church, a Christian ministry. Ever since I was a kid, I have always been energetic and active. I grew up with ADHD and sensory sensitive disorder so I know exactly what it's like to be a child on the move! I grew up doing competitive gymnastics where I learned the discipline and teamwork, but most importantly to have fun. I have always had a passion for sports, fitness, and wellness, and I’ve channeled that passion into my academic path and professional journey; which channeled into my first ever job coaching and mentoring young children to late Read more teens (ages 2 through 14), recreationally in gymnastics. I am an auntie to two wonderful young girls whom I helped raise, who are now ages 6 and 9 and I absolutely adore them! I have also worked closely with children that have autism and those that may also show signs of ADHD and ADD just like I did. I am Red Cross CPR Certified and also USAU Safesport trained as well! In addition to that, I have been babysitting since the age of 17, which I love. I had a strong support from my parents and my own wonderful share of caregivers which makes it even easier for me to work with other children, especially knowing that I am making a difference in someone's life for the better and helping people in the same ways I was supported growing up. I am excited to take the next steps to work with individuals, families and children on this professional and personal journey!
