I'm a recent college graduate from Portland State University. I earned my BS in social sciences with a minor in criminology and criminal justice with the highest Latin Honors: Summa Cum Laude. I have been a nanny/babysitter for over a decade now and have experience with newborns, infants, toddlers, elementary and middle-school aged children! I also have the unique experience working with special needs children on the Autism spectrum as one of my prior jobs was working as a behavioral technician. I am currently working as a cregiver for a special needs child almost-full time and hoping to round out my days with another family! I have over 4 years of experience working with children who are deaf, nonverbal, need extensive support with daily living activities such as eating, toileting, fine- motor-skills acquisition and more. I pride myself in my ability to make my nannying visits fun while always incorporating Read more learning and productivity into my visits. I'm the type of nanny who wants to spend time with the kiddos playing, being creative, helping with school work, cooking meals (and allowing kiddos to help where they can), helping around the house, transporting to extracurriculars and more! I'm happy to be an extra household hand when needed! Lastly, I am experienced working with large groups of kids of mixed age groups as I have cared for up to 9 kids at a time. With that said, I am more than comfortable to work with multiple children on a daily basis ranging from infants to pre-teens!
