Hi there! My name is Sydney and I am finishing my final semester at the University of Vermont. I study Sociology and Economics and have a passion for arts and crafts, spending time outdoors, and have recently taken up baking. Care taking in many forms has always been a part of my life. I began as a mother's helper at the age of 11 and began babysitting at 13, later taking part in a high school program teaching in a preschool. I have experience working as a camp counselor, pet sitter for a company in CT, and academic and social support mentor in VT. I have spent the last three years working in the health and wellness industry which has cultivated another passion of mine. Through my educational and professional opportunities, I have learned the importance of quality childcare and prioritize safety, communication, and of course, having fun!
