Caring for children has always felt natural to me. As the oldest of eight, I grew up looking after younger siblings, and that instinct to nurture never left — it simply became my calling. Over the past seven years, I’ve worked professionally in early childhood education and private childcare, with early childhood development coursework and CPR/First Aid training for infants and children. I currently nanny part-time and am working toward my teacher certification while building toward opening my own small progressive childcare program. What I love most about this work is being part of a child’s everyday world — showing up consistently, creating a sense of safety, and allowing kids the space to grow into who they already are. I’m inspired by child-centered approaches like Montessori’s trust in the child, Reggio Emilia’s belief in creativity, and therapeutic play’s ability to support emotional development. I see every child as a whole Read more person — mind, body, and heart — and I strive to create environments that feel calm, supportive, and home-like rather than rushed or rigid. I’m known for being patient, grounded, and fully present with the children I work with. I pay close attention to their individual needs and rhythms, and I bring clear, consistent communication to my relationships with families. For me, childcare is more than a job — it’s meaningful work that I genuinely care about and am deeply committed to.3
