Hi, I’m Emma — a recent college graduate with a bachelor’s of science degree in Psychology and a genuine passion for working with kids and pets in supportive, engaging ways. Throughout my studies, I developed a strong interest in neuropsychology! Specifically in how brain development connects to learning, behavior, and emotional growth. I plan to use that knowledge every day when caring for children by being mindful, patient, and attuned to their needs, whether they’re full of energy or just need someone calm to help them through their routine! Growing up, I started babysitting for families in my neighborhood, which taught me a lot about responsibility and the importance of fostering trust/connection. I also volunteered for several summers at my overnight camp, where I helped younger campers adjust to new environments, stay organized, and have fun while sticking to routines. While I wasn’t working directly with her clients, being around that environment helped shape my understanding of how to support kids with empathy, flexibility, and respect for their unique needs. I have reliable transportation and a flexible schedule to fit your family’s needs, and I’m currently pursuing CPR certification to enhance my safety skills. Additionally, I’m happy to help with light household tasks, homework support, and meal prep to make your life a little easier.
