Hello! I am Joaquin, and I’m a 19 year old (turning 20 in August). I’m currently going into my second year at Texas State University, where I’m studying Computer Science and Business Administration. I graduated high school with my Associate’s degree through Austin Community College, which helped me get a head start on my college education. I’ve always enjoyed working with kids. I have previously worked for Elgin ISD as a Youth Care worker, where I supervised and cared for elementary aged children. I’ve also done babysitting for a few families in my community, which has given me experience caring for children of different ages and personalities. Education has always been a big part of my life. I come from a family of educator, my mom is an elementary school teacher, and my dad has also been very involved in education. Furthermore, my grandpa, along with many of my aunts Read more and uncles, have all worked in education. Growing up around teachers has taught me the importance of patience, responsibility, and creating a fun, positive environment for kids. In addition to childcare, I’m experienced and more than happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, homework, and other household tasks. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children, keeping them engaged, and making sure they feel safe and cared for. I’m currently looking to babysit to help cover my college expenses and I’d love the opportunity to support your family while providing dependable and caring childcare.
