Hi! My name is Julia. I’m Brazilian and truly passionate about caring for children. Being part of their world, supporting their growth, and creating a safe and loving environment for them is something that brings me a lot of joy. My most recent experience was caring for a baby from 6 months to 18 months old. I was with her every day during a very special stage of her development, and over time we built a very strong bond. Our days were filled with reading, activities, music, outdoor walks, and many moments of discovery. I also prepared her meals using the baby-led weaning (BLW) approach and helped guide important transitions as she grew, such as encouraging more independent sleep and helping her prepare for starting daycare. Watching her gain confidence, learn new skills, and become more independent was very special to me. I’m currently studying the Montessori approach through a Read more course called The Power of the Child with the Montessori Home Community in Brazil. Through this program I’m deepening my understanding of child development, respectful communication, independence, and how to support children in developing their natural abilities with confidence. I’m certified in CPR/AED for adults, children, and infants, as well as Standard First Aid (BLS), and I’m always prepared to prioritize safety and respond calmly in emergency situations. I also like to send updates during the day to keep parents connected to their child’s routine and development. I believe this brings peace of mind and allows parents to stay connected even during busy workdays. I have a driver’s license and my own car and I’m happy to help with outings, activities, or errands related to the children. One of the things I love most about caring for children is watching them discover the world. Every new step, new word, or small achievement is exciting to witness. Being able to support them as they grow, learn, and become more independent is what makes this work so meaningful to me.
