My name is Aislynn and I currently live in Kalamazoo, MI. I have an Associates Degree in Arts and Science from Montcalm Community College and I’m working to get my Bachelors in Early Education at Western Michigan University. Since I was little I always wanted to become a teacher. I was lucky enough to have a wonderful experience with one of my teachers and it made me realize that I want to give other children that same experience. I greatly enjoy working with younger kids and have quite a few years of experience. I work currently as a Lifeguard Lead and Recreation Employee at Sandy Pines Recreation Community. I am certified in lifeguarding and First Aid/CPR and used many of these skills while working. I also spent a lot of time working with children and helping set up and participate in many different activities for younger children. We do a Read more lot of different crafts and games every day, always something new. We also have a daycare-like activity called kids club where we read stories, color pictures, play games, and do crafts together with kids from potty training to age 9 as well as pre-teen where we spend a lot of time outdoors playing different yard games. Another area this job required was working with food. I work in a concessions stand called Happy Shack where I make different meals and prep food for the day, occasionally leading and directing other employees and as a result of this I am well versed in food safety. I also have experience cleaning as I was a Residential/Commercial Cleaner and worked in an Assisted Living as a Housekeeper. Despite my work experience I was raised in a very chaotic home with four siblings and tons of pets. I love working with animals and have experience pet sitting as well. I love making crafts and coloring, watching movies, playing games, going outside and doing all kinds of activities. I enjoy singing and dancing and I play guitar as well. Ive been told that I am generally a very sociable person and I very much enjoy the company of others. I love meeting new people and fostering new relationships. I would love to meet you, your family, and your children and provide help in any way that I can. It’s hard finding someone you can trust and rely on to take care of the most precious things in your life. I want to give you peace of mind and create a fun and happy environment for you and the littles you care about.
