In 1972, my baby twin sisters were born, I was 7 years old. I learned very early how great it feels when you help someone, anyone who needs help. The feeling of pure goodness fills me with Joy and Energy. That's why I love caregiving. From a very young age I have been a very compassionate and empathetic caretaker. From my baby sisters and younger cousins to babysitting for younger school mates at my elementary school. When I was 17, my sister was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus at age 10. My father that same year was diagnosed with throat cancer. So, most of my life, from age 7 as Mom's little helper, to babysitting in my teens to caring for my Mom 24/7 for 6 years while she battled Parkinson's and Dementia from 2014 to 2020, I have been a caretaker. The last two years I cared for two Read more special Senior gentlemen through HOME CARE ASSISTANCE located in Clearwater. It was a wonderful experience helping and learning so much history from them both, yet bittersweet because you do develop a relationship with the patient and their family. Today, I'm wanting to help care for little ones who can share their growing steps with me. Witnessing the light in their eyes as they become intrigued or fascinated in things would be fun and rewarding to me. I have my First Aid Certification, CPR, in addition to various other medical certifications. I own a 2020 Ford Edge vehicle as well.
