I’m a retired high school and college English instructor who has lived in this area all my life. After 40 years of teaching young adults, I’m interested now in focusing on younger kids! I love their energy! Since I’ve raised two children of my own, and I now have an infant grandson whom I adore, I know much about the learning and growing of children—either from my own experience or from the many education classes I’ve taken. However, my focus will be as much on kids having fun playing games or being outside as it will be reading books—although reading books is my favorite. I have training with safety, and I am willing to help with light housework if needed. Being around children, keeps me feeling young and being active. For the most part, I feel very confident about my abilities in regards to childcare; however, I can always learn Read more new things that will improve my time with your kids. Of course, I’ll follow your household rules and parenting guidelines, so together we can improve your children’s time when you have to be away. I’m looking forward to working with young ones again!
