I’ve been a full time nanny for over 13 years, working with 3 families long term and one family for a short term newborn nanny position during that time. I love working with kids helping them learn and grow. Helping children feel confident in their day to day lives but also knowing that it is okay to ask for help when needed. I foster a love of learning and reading as much as I can in the children I work with. I use the outdoors and movement as much as possible in my day to day with children. Taking walks, park days, playing at home. Screen time is minimal, and I use it according to the parents views on it. I’d rather spend the time reading to the kids or encourage them to use their little minds to think of things to play.
