Hello! My name is Margaret, and I've been working with children for over 10 years, most notably as a nanny, camp counselor, and Montessori Lead Guide in a toddler program I founded in Austin, TX. I recently moved to Winston-Salem to be closer to family. I grew up in SC and couldn't stay away from the beautiful Carolinas for long! While I'm certified in Montessori development ages 0-3, I also have a ton of experience with children up to age 13. I love to cook, garden, organize, and make your life easier. I cannot recommend Margaret highly enough! She worked as a Nanny/Household Manager for my family for 4 months prior to her move to North Carolina. Margaret did an amazing job caring for my baby, as she took the lead with helping our baby to self soothe and sleep in a crib, engage in independent play, feed herself during baby led weaning (BLW), and to begin to toilet train. Margaret has strong communication in person and in writing (e.g. every day she logged our baby's activities), is always punctual, emphasizes children's safety and development, and excels at organization-related tasks. She is certified as a Montessori Lead for ages 0-3, and I am highly confident that she would be great at caring for older children as well!
