Hello there! My name is Kayla and most of my kids call me Mrs. Kayla, or Mrs. Lala. I am the eldest of 4 siblings so looking after little ones is ingrained in me. I loved playing "mom" and at the early age of 16 I became one. I have a beautiful almost 11 year old daughter, 3 nieces, 1 nephew, and I have helped deliver 5 babies and counting! I am a few credits shy of becoming a (LPN) Licensed Practical Nurse and I have a CPR certification. Between raising babies and keeping them, I also have cared for the elderly extensively. My love for nurturement is what led me to pursue a medical career to be able to provide even more care for both children and elderly. I have worked in-house health care, nursing homes, and hospitals including hospice care. I have taken care of autistic adults, elderly, Read more and babies as tiny as 8 weeks old. Caring for children especially has been a big passion of mine and how I have been able to provide for my baby girl over the years. I plan to work in the labor and delivery unit of the hospital when I graduate. For now, I am looking for an opportunity to serve a family in the area while I continue in my program at school.
