Hi! My name is Michelle, but I often go by Shelly. I’m currently a student at JMU studying Dietetics and Nutrition, and I’m also working toward my Nursing degree. I hold certifications in CPR, First Aid, and BLS, and I’m comfortable working with individuals at any stage of life—from young children to seniors—as well as all types of pets. I also enjoy helping families stay organized by assisting with household tasks such as meal prep, cooking, running errands, laundry, tidying, and organizing. Last summer, I trained as a nursing assistant in a nursing home, which sparked my passion for professional caregiving. More recently, I had the opportunity to babysit for a wonderful family with two school-age children and their energetic dog, which further inspired me to pursue my long-term goal of becoming a full-time professional nanny. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, spending time outdoors, fitness, reading, crafts, singing, Read more and movies. I love learning new skills and am always looking for ways to grow both personally and professionally. I’m happy to assist with homework, especially science-related subjects, and I believe in encouraging learning through play, creativity, exploration, and staying active.
