I love being a sitter because it's so rewarding to connect with kids and help them learn and grow. There's nothing better than seeing a child's face light up when they finally understand something new or when you make them laugh. Plus, I get to be a big kid myself sometimes, which is always fun! I've been babysitting for about 6 years now, starting with family friends and neighbors. I've worked with kids of all ages, from infants to pre-teens. I've also worked at a local daycare center, where I helped with activities and assisted the staff with daily routines. I have taken courses in child development and safety. I'm comfortable with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and helping with homework. I'm also great at coming up with fun and engaging activities to keep kids entertained, whether it's arts and crafts, outdoor games, or reading stories.
