Hi there! 😊 My name is Kirstie, and I’m a proud mother of two wonderful children who have grown up and left the nest. Nobody really prepares you for the challenges of a suddenly quiet home, where the chaos has faded away and the endless supply of freshly washed, neatly folded towels somehow remains untouched in the cabinet! Caring for children has always been a passion of mine. When my own children were little, I opened a state-certified, in-home daycare ( Kirstie’s Home Away from Home childcare) which I operated until both of my children were attending school full time. Before becoming a mother, I also spent three years working part-time in childcare as a teenager. Needless to say, nurturing children has been a meaningful part of my life for many years. One of my proudest accomplishments is seeing my daughter follow in my footsteps by pursuing childcare herself before Read more moving into her college dorm full-time. Now that my children are grown, I find myself missing the laughter, little personalities, busy days, and beautiful chaos that come with caring for little ones. I’m hoping to welcome that joy back into my life while earning an income from my home in Bardstown, Kentucky.
