I have the most experience from living in NY as a single parent to 2 children and for those belonging to friends and family. Since moving here 4 years ago I have been regularly taking care of the children in various families between the years of 1-10. I have a lot of patience, am easy going, caring, reliable and enjoy being around children of all ages. I try to be flexible and feel that safety is of the utmost importance. I drive a car and can transport your children to and from activities/school, etc. And I'm willing to do light housework and can cook. While volunteering recently I saved a young boy from getting hit by a car as he ran out into the road and I ran after him and pulled him out of harm's way. While living in NY I worked full time (for 18 years) as a Read more Legal Administrative Assistant for a large healthcare company. I currently volunteer at Duke Children's Hospital in my spare time - helping and at one of the local food pantry's. I will be happy to provide references.
