Hi! My name is Daylah and I’m passionate about working with children and creating a safe, caring and positive environment where they can feel comfortable being themselves. I have over 3 years of experience as a Registered Behavior Technician working with children with autism, along with 2 years of babysitting experience. Through these experiences I’ve had the opportunity to work with children ranging from newborns to 13 years old. I’ve also grown up helping care for my 3 younger siblings which has taught me a lot about patience, responsibility and the little things that make children feel loved and supported. I’m currently in school pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Education as well as my Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. Working with children has always been something I genuinely enjoy and my education and professional experience have only made me more passionate about it. As a sitter, I want parents to feel comfortable knowing their children are in caring and capable hands. I’m dependable, patient and attentive and I understand that every child is different. Whether we’re playing, doing crafts, reading, working on homework or simply having a fun day together, I try to make every experience meaningful and enjoyable. Most importantly, I truly love working with kids. It’s incredibly rewarding to be someone who can make a child feel safe, supported and happy while also encouraging them to learn, grow and be the best version of themselves.
