As a mom who raised two respectable, intelligent children (who are doing extremely well in society) and an involved grandma with three grand children, I have the day to day experience of ensuring a child is well taken care of. I believe in teaching them manners, age appropriate skills through fun activities and giving them lots of love through patience and gentle guidance. Also, I had my day care license for a few years in Maryland back in 1996. I had a day care in my home ("The little people's palace") where I took care of 3-6 children at a time. In my day care, I taught preschool, Spanish, etc. I received age appropriate materials/kits from the board of education, which I taught from. I love children and truly believe that we can all help them become educated, respectful adults.
