Boy mom here! I have over 13 years of experience in the medical field, along with extensive childcare experience prior to that. I worked as a nanny for 3–4 families and spent 12 years at Lewis Little Folks, NASA’s on-site childcare center. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with children ranging in age from 6 weeks to 13 years old. I began babysitting neighborhood children at a young age and obtained my first daycare position at a local center near my home. As a nanny, my responsibilities included preparing and serving breakfast and lunch, transporting children to and from school, chaperoning playdates and field trips, planning age-appropriate outings, and providing light housekeeping.
