Hi! I’m Amira. I work full-time in pediatric healthcare while also completing my bachelor’s degree in Communication, and I think the combination of my education and healthcare background has really shaped the way I connect with people. I started babysitting as a teenager, and throughout my professional life I’ve had the opportunity to work with people across the lifespan—from children and families in pediatric and hospital settings to older adults in geriatric care. Those experiences have given me a lot of patience, attentiveness, and an ability to recognize that everyone communicates and responds differently. With kids especially, I think being able to meet them where they are, understand their personalities, and make them feel comfortable is just as important as keeping them safe. I’m responsible and attentive, but I’m also genuinely fun. I’m comfortable with different ages, personalities, routines, and energy levels, and I want kids to feel like they’re spending time with someone who actually enjoys being there—not someone who is just watching the clock. I also understand that trusting someone with your children is a big deal. Working in healthcare has made me especially aware of how important trust and communication are with families. I’m happy to follow your routines, preferences, and expectations, keep you updated while you’re away, and ask questions rather than make assumptions. My goal is for you to be able to enjoy your plans knowing your kids are safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. Because I work full-time and attend school, I’m especially interested in evening, date-night, weekend, and occasional babysitting opportunities. I have reliable transportation and would love to build relationships with a few local families looking for someone dependable they can feel comfortable calling again and again.
