Hi! My name is Dominique Smith, I’m 29 years old and just recently got married. I graduated from the University of Missouri in 2020 with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. I taught preschool for 1 year at The Academy of Early Childhood Learning in Columbia, MO and then taught 2nd Grade for 3 years at Alpha Hart Elementary in Columbia, MO. Prior to this, I was a nanny for multiple families in town while attending school. I worked with children in between the ages of 15mo - 7 years old. I recently took a step back from education and moved back to my hometown in Grayslake, IL where I currently work as a bartender and waitress at First Draft. Although it has been fun to reconnect with family and friends, I find myself missing working with children and would love to find a career where I can step back into Read more that role again.
