I have a 23 year old daughter and a 2 and a half year old grandson that live in Ohio. I recently moved to the area and I am looking for work currently. I love children and I love interacting with them through playing with them, teaching them, reading to them, crafting with them, cooking with them, cleaning with them and everything in between. I find it's important to teach them as early as possible how to do it all from cooking and cleaning to math and reading by doing everyday things with them. I find opportunities for teaching them in everything I do and I try to make it fun and engaging so they are interested and want to learn how to do it. It also helps lessen the amount of time they have to "get into trouble" because they're bored because you rent doing anything with them or Read more doing anything they're interested in. I have also babysat all 4 years of high school and I worked in a church nursery when I lived in Alaska taking care of children from 8 weeks old up to approximately 7 years old. I am extremely patient with children. I have a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology. It provides me the ability to understand children slightly better than some because I can understand the reasoning behind their actions or reasoning.
